Your point of sale runs the front desk. Nothing runs the company.
Once a business passes five locations, the gaps show. Leads sit in an inbox. Managers run the numbers in spreadsheets a week late. Commissions take three days to close. Every scorecard is a Sunday night project for someone. The point of sale was never built for any of this, so the CEO becomes the back office.
HQ was built inside a real multi-location company to close those gaps, and it has run that company every day since.
Built for operators, not IT departments.
Med spas and aesthetics. Dental and dermatology groups. Veterinary practices. Physical therapy and fitness. Home services. If you run 5 to 50 locations with a corporate team under fifteen people, and you are personally the one drowning in the back office, this was built for you.
We work in regulated businesses. Patient data, payroll and bank data are handled under a business associate agreement, with the same controls we run in our own medical company.
Built by an operator.
Justin Magnuson is the CEO of It’s A Secret Med Spa and the founder of Brainacity. Before that he founded and ran Stratus Neuro, which grew to more than $100 million in annual revenue serving 300+ hospitals, and he has built and sold companies across healthcare, hospitality and technology. He built Brainacity’s operating layer because he could not hire his way out of his own back office, and then realized every multi-location operator he knew had the same problem.
Brainacity grew out of It’s A Secret Med Spa, a 15-location medical aesthetics company with roughly 200 employees. Its corporate office runs on HQ and the AI layer every day:
Twenty minutes. We will tell you what to automate first and what it should cost.
